Step-by-Step Guide
1) Insert and Format Charts/Graphs
- Go to Insert → Chart and choose chart type (Column, Line, Pie, etc.).
- Enter or paste data in the linked sheet.
- Use Chart Design to change style, colors, and labels.
- Add title, axis names, and legend for readability.
Example: Visualize monthly sales trend with a line chart and target benchmark.
2) Create Hyperlinks
- Select text/object.
- Press
Ctrl+Kor go to Insert → Link. - Link to webpage, file, or email address.
- Use meaningful anchor text (avoid “click here”).
3) Add Headers, Footers, and Page Numbers
- Go to Insert → Header/Footer.
- Add document title, author, date, and page numbering.
- Use Different First Page for formal reports.
4) Insert Text Boxes and Shapes
- Go to Insert → Text Box or Insert → Shapes.
- Use for callouts, process notes, or visual emphasis.
- Align with page margins and keep consistent style.
5) Add Equations and Symbols
- Go to Insert → Equation for mathematical expressions.
- Use Insert → Symbol for special characters (
±,Ω,₹, etc.). - Keep notation format consistent throughout the document.
Good Design Practices
- Use charts only when they clarify data.
- Keep visuals aligned and avoid clutter.
- Use 1–2 font families and consistent color palette.

Prepare a 3-page technical note including:
- 1 chart with title and labels
- 2 hyperlinks (one web, one internal file)
